The Infiltration of Fear

The Infiltration of Fear

Original Mixed Media Artwork by Leslie Berg

The Infiltration of Fear explores the way fear enters our lives—sometimes suddenly, sometimes so gradually that we barely recognize its presence.

Against a deep, vivid blue background, layers of richly textured gold push across the canvas, breaking boundaries and sending delicate trails downward. The contrast between the two colors creates a sense of tension, movement, and unease, while the sculptural surface adds depth and dimension.

Created with acrylic paint and modeling paste, this original mixed media painting invites viewers to consider how fear can spread, take hold, and transform the spaces we once believed were safe.
